The seminar will include the latest technologies of the instantaneous and storage type water heating systems. The speaker will introduce the classifications, technical specifications, installation requirements, safety issues, operating and control methods, mandatory energy efficiency labelling, IoT applications of water heaters in smart homes with related case studies for illustration.

Ir Aldous Leung, German Pool (HK) Ltd

Ir Leung has worked in the power, energy services as well as the water heating industries as senior manager over 30 years. He possesses ample experience in water heaters, solar panel (FiT) and solar water heaters by providing technical advices to the clients, architects, consultants, electricians and plumbing contractors. He is also an adjunct lecturer at the HKUSPACE delivering lectures on Electrical Services in Buildings.  Aldous is well versed with the wiring regulations and has helped many clients to resolve their installations as well as operational constraints.
