Speaker:
Ir WOO Hon Yue,
FHKIE ;RPE (Mechanical); Professor, Huazhong University of Science and
Technology (HUST), Wuhan, China; Life Member in ASHRAE.
After graduation the speaker has
been teaching in HUST from 1957 till 1974 as Lecturer. After the Chinese
Culture Revolution Woo relocated with his family to Hong Kong in 1974. He
served as Senior Engineer and Engineering Consultant of Philips HKG, and
participated in foreign investment projects in Beijing, Nanjing, Wuhan and
other cities. Since 1980s he has been teaching at HUST and DELFT University,
the Netherlands.
In recent years Woo jointed Dr.
CY Lo's research group to verify the correctness of Einstein's Theory of
Relativity. He has successfully proven with experiment in the Hong Kong Polar
Research Institute run by Dr K C Ho that Einstein's Equation E=MC2
is not unconditionally equivalent.
