An Energy Saving Solution - Plate-tube Liquid Film Evaporative Technology with UV Disinfection System

Date, time & venue

2019-10-18;18:30-20:00;Chan Yat Mei Sophie Room – 9/F

Jointly Organized by HKIE- EVD, AMC and CAD

Programme Highlights:

The Plate-tube Liquid Film Evaporative Technology was invented by Dr Li in early 2000’s and later obtained worldwide patent. This new technology has been successfully applied to provide cooling of condenser by direct spray of water on the condenser so then the cooling effect of the system is highly improved. It is a highly energy efficient alternative to the traditional air-cooled and water-cooled condensed chillers, with saving of energy over 35% and 15% respectively.

Ultraviolet Disinfection System equipped with water treatment device is specially designed for water-cooled condensed chiller for sterilization of the system to ensure the hygiene of circulation water without Legionella and sludge. It is a physical disinfection technology, mainly to destruct the microbial DNA and interferes with its replication and transcription.

The speakers will share their experience with the members and guests’ experiences in this all in one compact design with safely and highly energy efficient refrigeration technology.
