Programme Highlights
Despite the very dense human population, Hong Kong is not in lack of urban biodiversity. Urban trees, especially urban greeneries, play an important role in this mosaic landscape of developed areas, urban parks and country parks. Further enhancing urban biodiversity through urban forestry and planting the right tree species at the right place have been included in one of the key action areas of the Hong Kong Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan.In this seminar, the speaker will share the importance of biodiversity and how to preserve and enhance urban biodiversity in Hong Kong.
