Programme Highlight

Building information modelling (BIM) technology has become an essential tool for Architecture, Engineering, Construction and Operation (AECO) professionals to design, build, operate and manage modern buildings, infrastructure and facilities. In line with HKSAR Government’s strategic direction to promote the adoption of innovation and technology in the AECO industries, the VTC BIM Innovation Hub (VTC BIMiHub) is established to support the teaching and learning of new technologies and promote industry-academic collaborations. The Main Node of the BIMiHub is located at THEi Tsing Yi Campus and consists of the Advanced BIM Training Room and the BIM Innovation & Research Laboratory. The key concepts of the BIMiHub will be explained and the major facilities will be demonstrated.
