Programme Highlight

Following the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, coronavirus was confirmed to be present in air and human excrement. Apart from the need for good design and maintenance in the drainage system for toilets/bathrooms, appropriate design of healthy toilets/bathrooms is equally important in order to achieve the maximum level of hygiene and reduction the risk of cross contamination and virus infection.

This seminar will look at the latest design and smart technologies in design for a healthy public toilet and a domestic bathroom.  In particular, the speaker will examine how traditional automatic washrooms are migrating to healthy design with the use of smart technologies.
