Highlights
Shiu Wing Steel is the
leading local manufacturer and retailer of reinforcing bars for over 50 years.
The rolling mill is located at Tuen Mun West area. Throughout the visit, the
participants can in depth understanding of hot rolling process of Thermal
Mechanical Treatment TMT (or Quench and Self Tempering QST) for Grade 500 high
tensile rebar production; clear pictures of automatic rebar cut and bend
operation by using stock length rebar and rebar in coils (DBIC) testing
operations; good understanding of CS2:2012 requirements, rebar testing,
traceability and quality assurance system throughout the process.

The visit is charged HK$ 50
for transportation with no refundable. The maximum of participant is limited to
20. Registration is required. The applicants please fill the HKIE registration

confirmed on or before 19 June 2021. CPD
