Programme Highlights:
High density
polyethylene pipes, or HDPE pipes, have been adapted for many decades worldwide
for the utility services such as gas, sewage and water supply. HDPE pipes are
suitable for high pressure pipelines due to their high impermeability and
robust molecular bonding. They exhibit durable and flexible behaviour, and suitable
in
multi-purpose
applications. It is often employed for replacing aging concrete
or steel mains. This seminar will introduce the composition and selection of
HDPE, relevant standards, manufacturing process, installation and testing
method. The speaker will also share his experience on the WSD and DSD requirements
and application in case study.

of Well Group (HK) Ltd. which is one of the suppliers of the WSD. He is specialised in the polyethylene pipes for water supply and has
supplied to several projects related to the HDPE pipework application.
