Programme Highlight
Energy efficiency is the “first fuel” in fighting against CO2
emission in commercial buildings, if we take a look inside these buildings,
HVAC and water systems are the highest energy consumers, accounting for a
massive 40% of an average building’s energy consumption. However, most
buildings use between 20 and 50% more energy than necessary – and that this
also goes for new constructions and newly renovated buildings. By rethinking the way we approach HVAC
and water systems, the advanced solutions of smart pumps, distributed pumping,
prefabricated system and digital enabled services are to increase the overall
efficiency of the entire pumping system. There’s massive untapped potential in
this area – and the best thing is that we can reduce energy use while still
delivering exactly the same comfort.
The seminar introduces the developing trends of water pumping
solutions and technologies in and around commercial buildings, and demonstrate
how do the cutting-edge technologies enable energy efficiency in the area of
GREEN and SMART buildings. Some typical cases will be shared to indicate how
much energy saving can be achieved through what type of pumping solutions.
Speaker
Mr. Lin Wang has worked more than 20 years for smart buildings
solution in mechanical and electrical area, focusing on innovative water
solutions through systematic design, energy optimization and smart operation,
which is aiming to help customers improve energy efficiency, reduce operation
cost, achieve organization goal of green and sustainable development. He has
abundant experience as a leader to adopt latest technology into water solution
e.g., integration, prefabrication and digital, handled customized solutions and
project management from end to end to ensure successful deployment.
