Notice of the 31St Annual General Meeting (AGM) – CHANGE
OF VENUE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the 31st Annual General Meeting of the Associate
Members Committee will be held on Thursday, 16 June 2022 at 6:30pm at Chan Yat Mei
Sophie Room, the HKIE Headquarters, 9/F, Island Beverley, No 1 Great
George Street, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong, for the following purposes:
1. To receive
and confirm the Minutes of the 30th AGM.
2. To
receive and adopt the Annual
Report of the Committee for Session 2021/2022.
3. To
receive and adopt the Financial
Statement of the Committee for Session 2021/2022.
4. To
elect the Chairman and Members of the Committee for Session 2022/2023.
In
case of adjournment of the AGM, members of the Committee shall check on the
Institution’s website at http://www.hkie.org.hk
and the Committee’s website at http://amc.hkie.org.hk of
the revised venue, time and date for the adjourned AGM.
Members are
reminded that if you come to the Headquarters to attend the AGM, you are
advised to wear a surgical mask.

Nominations for Chairman and Members
Chairman
The
outgoing Committee has decided to nominate Mr Indi WONG Wing Fai for election
as the Chairman for Session 2022/2023.
No other
nomination has been received from members by the nomination deadline.
Members
The
outgoing Committee has decided to opt for the maximum of 15 Members, and six
Members in the Committee shall retire by end of the Session, namely Mr Indi WONG Wing Fai, Mr Daniel CHEUNG Pak Fun, Mr Francis CHOY Chi Keung, Mr Benjamin
LAM Yau Bun, Mr LEUNG Kai Chiu and Mr SZE Wing Suen.
Following
the retirement of the above Members, there are six vacancies for the Members.
The
Committee has decided to nominate the following six candidates for the Members
for a three-year term: Mr Tommy CHAN Fai Ki, Mr Daniel CHEUNG Pak Fun, Mr LEUNG Kai Chiu, Mr Simon PANG Hin Lam, Mr
Johnny SHING Wai Lam and Mr SZE Wing Suen.
No other
nomination has been received from members by the nomination deadline.
